This book had some sad parts, but it was still a really great book. In the recent National Book Award winning Inside Out and Back Again, Thanhha Lai chronicles her family's experience of immigrating to the United States from Vietnam after the fall of Saigon in 1975. My favorite book is Inside Out & Back Again. Written in the form of a poem, ten year old Ha and her family must flee their homes when their country erupts in war. Ds16 | March 10th, 2013 at 5:17 pm.
